I am a sound visual artist and improvisor - making primarily electronic music. I practice video/ graphic art along with music and violin to create a multisensory experience within our worlds that is either meditative or chaotic. Originally from Charlotte, NC, currently living in New York City. I love comedy 😭😹and pets 🐶😸. I make art to spread a positive message that challenges perspective, vulnerability, love and curiosity, finding a sensory line between the silly and the existential through rhythm and color. Mainly I produce under the name “guuumaqu” and am part of the duo "Amaquu" with "Aman". I DJ solo and alongside collaborators “Malaisebrigade” as “Basedmix”, “Trey Tarzia,” and “Lilith.” I perform improvised electronic music with “Pon0p0no” under the name “JJAGUNOMAQU.” Along with sound art I do video/ visual and conceptual work. I have been featured on albums with artists including “Cosmic Collective,” “DJ Manny” from “Teklife,” and “RXK Nephew”
